FAQs

How to reduce drink spiking?

Be aware - keep a close lookout and be vigilant of people in the venue and what they are doing. Increase glass collecting and floor walking. Act by raising any concerns to management or security.
Make others aware - advise guests of risks and reassure them of the venue's vigilance. Use posters to highlight and advise. Advertise asking for 'Angela' or 'Clive'.
As a venue, you could also consider offering drink stoppers, or consider obtaining testing kits for suspected spiked drinks, as well as reviewing their search policy.

What are the 5 warning signs if your drink has been spiked?

You can’t always tell your drink has been spiked but some warning signs may include: excess fizziness in your drink, a change in taste or colour, or a foggy or cloudy appearance.
